Fashion For Free!

Wednesday, 8th  July 2020

Join in the fun & take part in David Nieper Fashion For Free! 2020.  We had a wonderful time last year hosting local schools and would like to invite your school to take part this year!  We would love to see what creations your children can design!  Create something amazing for free and enjoy a fun packed day here at our sewing rooms & factory in Alfreton. The competition is true to its name and completely free to enter and it costs nothing to take part and visit us! The theme for this year’s competition is:

  “The Summer Of Sport”

Look to Olympic style past and present to help you create spectacular fashion!

Be it Olympics inspired clothes, sportswear fit for an athlete, or accessories and fashion inspired by Olympic competitors and countries – the possibilities are endless!

Who Can Enter? – Any primary age school children age 4 to 11

What’s involved? – Make a textiles creation, perhaps an item of clothing, a bag or a hat, without it costing anything. Reuse scraps of material, old clothes or even unwanted curtains to create something spectacular! (one entry per child)

Interactive Factory Tour – Visit our sewing rooms, learn about how clothes are made from start to finish and have an opportunity to join in lots of fun activities, games and competitions. Certificates for every entry and trophies shall be awarded for the best designs and to the winning school.
